If you guys know me or follow me on social you will see that I’m always in sneakers. Sneakers have been such a huge part of my life since I could remember. I was the only girl in the household growing up, with a younger brother and an older brother, so I was always around sneakers. Thankfully, my mother never pushed me to be super “girly” instead was always allowing me to express my originality when it came to fashion.
Enough with the sentimental back story, time for the good stuff. I recently received some very special sneakers from #footlocker and decided to debut my sneaker unboxing series on my channel. The #nike Air Max 200 Legend of Her Pack is dedicated to the creator/designer of the infamous Nike Swoosh, Carolyn Davidson. The brand paid homage to Davidson with this sneaker and I couldn’t be any more proud to rock them on my feet. Check out my video below and if you’re not already, be sure to subscribe to my channel!
I’ve always wanted to be a part of a campaign. Not just any campaign, one with a message, one where the products I was modeling meant something. On October 26, I had the opportunity to be in a jewelry campaign for Iris Jewelry called “The only color we see is gold.” The brand stands for unity, love, and diversity and in the studio, I felt just that. Every model there had a unique and diverse look to them and you can feel the love and positivity throughout the entire room. What was even more special was that my good friend Valine was the photographer for this shoot.
Enough talking, check out the photos below and be sure to check out Iris Jewelry online to purchase a few dope pieces.
My latest video is up on my YouTube channel and it’s the introduction to a new series I will have. My How To Style series will showcase classic pieces that we all have in our closets and different outfit options with that one piece of clothing. For my first video, I chose to style a staple in a woman’s closet, the black satin dress.
I don’t know where my readers live but here in the northeast, it’s already cold. Like 50 degrees high cold. So I shared how to transition this black satin dress from summer to fall/winter. Check out the different outfit ideas in the video below. Hit this link to subscribe!!
Hello everyone! I wanted to find a way to have you guys get to know me a little better and while browsing twitter I came across a #vlogtober thread. It’s pretty self-explanatory but for those who don’t know, I’ll explain. Vlogtober is when you vlog every day (or almost everyday) for the month of October. I decided to vlog almost every day and upload weekly as a recap. For my first video in the series, I just intro’d what I will be vlogging, tried out Taco Bell’s toasted cheddar chalupa, and headed to the movies to catch the Joker film. I hope you enjoy and stay tuned for the next episode!
August is over, and that means only one thing…my #monthlyfavorites video is now up! This time around I wanted to do something a little different so I decided to share my favorite songs of the past month. If you’re like me, then you know that when some good songs come out, you NEED to just keep them on repeat. I’ve added the video below, so feel free to sing along. Don’t forget to like and subscribe! Thank you for watching.
For my latest video on my YouTube channel, I took you guys shopping with me. I wanted to pick up some basic pieces to spruce up my current wardrobe. I added two new bottoms to my collection; some wide-leg jeans and cargos. I picked up a new sleepwear set that I’m planning on wearing as casual wear so stay tuned for that. Last but not least, I bought three t-shirts. Check out the video below, and if you’re not already subscribed help your girl out and hit that subscribe button.
It’s summertime here in the east coast and I always associate hot sunny weather with good music; you know the tracks that make you dance while you’re stuck in traffic on your way to the beach or on your way out to a fun night with friends.
In honor of the warmer weather, I created a little playlist to get you dancing and having fun at any time. Like always, shuffle or not, hope you enjoy!
